One of my favorite items to wear both inside and outside of the office is the pencil skirt. The silhouette is flattering for every body type!
If you have fuller hips and thighs, choose a skirt that is a darker color and that has some stretch. Avoid choosing bulky fabrics which will just make your bottom half look larger.
If you want to look taller, avoid a pencil skirt with a longer hemline (such as the one I am wearing in these photos) and instead opt for a hemline which ends right above your knee caps!
Do you love pencil skirts as much as I do? Let me know in the comments below!

Pencil skirts are one of my favorite office looks! Super sharp here, Yael. It looks like that is a sweater tucked in – but no bulk at the waist line…tricks for that! The necklace is amazing, too.

Hi Catherine!
Thanks so much!! In order to avoid bulk at the waist line, just choose a super fitted sweater. Then after you put on the skirt, but before you zip it up, reach underneath and grab the bottom of the sweater and pull it down, so that it lays completely flat. Then zip up the skirt. Hope that makes sense! xo yael

Love the skirt! And the necklace! Actually love the entire outfit! I am in for the grays big time, and not thanks to the 50 shades that has been everywhere lately :)

Lol! That is hysterical! Also, thanks so much! I am also a big fan of gray – I almost consider it a neutral! Have a wonderful day! xo
