In the past I’ve talked about adding a bow to your outfit to add visual interest. Another way to accomplish this same goal is by adding a belt.
Placing the belt at your waist draws attention to the thinnest part of your torso.
Remember most belts do not have enough holes to work both at your waist and your hip, so before you purchase a belt you should decide where you plan on wearing it. Additionally, never buy a belt that is too small, as this will draw focus to your silhouette for all the wrong reasons!
Lastly, don’t forget to store your belts properly. Here is a post I wrote a few weeks back, which provides a great solution for storing your belts!
How about you? Do you often wear belts and if so, do you tend to wear them more around your waist or your hips? Let me know in the comments below!
{Cardigan: Reiss (old), I love this one which, is currently on sale! | Tank: Theory | Pants: DVF (old), similar here | Belt: Club Monaco | Shoes: Jimmy Choo | Sunglasses: Maui Jim | Watch: Cartier | Rings: Love Juliet}

That is a very stylish work outfit! :)
I actually wish more women at my work would dress like this. :)
