Work Wardrobe No. 38

 
Here in NYC it’s getting quite hot out and if you have fairer skin like myself (or even if you are blessed with a darker complexion), it is very important to protect your skin from the sun! A great way to protect your face when you’re walking to and from work is with a hat. I particularly love this hat because it has SPF protection built in.
 
As for the dress, I choose to unbutton and then cuff the sleeves for two reasons – 1) it’s hot out and 2) it looks more relaxed and effortless!
 
Last, but not least let’s discuss the shoes. 99% of the time I do not wear my heels when walking around NYC. I carry them in my purse and then change into them when I arrive at my destination. That being said these shoes go perfectly with this outfit. If your office is more conservative, then swap them out for these nude pumps instead!
