Before I get to today’s post, I want to wish a happy, healthy, and sweet new year for those of you celebrating Rosh Hashana! L’shana tova! On to today’s post!
If you’re still adhering to the old adage of no wearing white after Labor Day now is the time to stop!! (I’ve always wondered where the notion of no wearing white after Labor Day originated from and it seems that the answer is unclear. Go figure)! Wearing white in the fall and winter gives a fresh feel to your look (and all white ensembles look so chic in the winter).
I love this white sweater from Chicwish because it’s the perfect transition piece for fall. The knit is super light weight, and the distressed holes are a great detail and also ensure that the sweater isn’t too hot! I often get asked what to wear under a top like this and the answer is simple: wear a sheer nude bra with petal stickers underneath the bra.
What are your thoughts on wearing white after labor day? Let me know in the comments and make sure to check out some of my other favorite Chicwish finds below!
