One of the questions I get asked most often is whether it’s appropriate to wear a bright color dress to a wedding, so today I’m answering that question. You can absolutely wear a bright color dress to a wedding (unless of course the bride has specified otherwise)!
In fact, a bright color dress is more appropriate to wear to a summer wedding than a black dress, which is more suited for a winter wedding. If you opt for a bright color dress, just make sure the dress is not too fitted. Remember this is the bride’s day, and if you choose a dress that is a bright color and super fitted, you might be pulling attention away from the bride.
That’s why this fuschia dress is perfect to wear to a summer wedding. The bright color of the dress is balanced out by the fit, which isn’t too tight! This dress is also perfect to wear to a wedding, because it’s part of the Bloomingdale’s 100% exclusive shop (the dress is only available at Bloomingdale’s) so there’s a much smaller chance you’ll end up wearing the same dress as another guest!
