As promised, today’s post is all about what to wear as a bride to your own bridal shower!
Before starting your search for an outfit, you’ll need to decide whether you want to wear white or a color. Although some people opt to wear a color, I think the better choice is to wear something white or cream. As the bride to be this is your day and time to shine!
Once you’ve made this decision it’s time to shop! Depending on the time of year you’re getting married, finding a white dress can sometimes be difficult. So today I wanted to show you a great styling trick – wearing a skirt as a dress! To pull off this styling trick you will need a long skirt and belt. The length of the skirt is self-explanatory. Since you will be wearing the skirt as a dress you want to make sure it’s long enough to look appropriate. Equally important as the length of the dress is a belt, which will create definition at your waist. Without the belt the skirt will look shapeless (and not very flattering)!
I love this white tulle skirt, because of how beautifully the fabric flows and how magical it looks! The skirt is also super affordable (only $79.90), which is ideal because there aren’t too many occasions to wear a white dress. So even if you only get one or two uses out of it, it’s still worth the buy!
If you’re hesitant to try out this styling trick, I’ve got you covered! Make sure to check out the beautiful dresses I sourced below, which would all be great to wear to your bridal shower!
