Trying Something New

“Can you please put on another pair of sunglasses?” My friend was joking of course (or maybe not!) when she said this to me, but I realized she was right! I switch my clothes all the time, but with my accessories I tend to stick with what I’m familiar and comfortable with. So I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and give two new accessories a try – different sunglasses and tassel earrings!
 
I’ve always loved how round sunglasses look on other people, but wasn’t sure if I could pull them off. To be honest, I almost didn’t get this pair because when I tried it on at the store I still wasn’t sure. Turns out, I just needed to get used to seeing a new shape on my face and now I love them. Ironically, when I wear my Rayban’s now I almost feel they are too boring, lol!
 
For earrings, I almost always wear my diamond studs. Part of the reason I always default to my studs is because every time I try and wear a statement earring I find they are too heavy and not comfortable (even when wearing those earlobe sticker patches for extra support). Another part is because sometimes I find the silhouette of the statement earring makes my face look long (we all have our quirks)!
 
That being said I’m always on the lookout for statement earrings that might work. And I’m so glad I do because these tassel earrings by Hart look and feel great!! Even my dad commented on how nice my earrings were (which trust me, is a rare event)!
