One of my favorite finds to date is suede leggings. Not only are they amazingly comfortable (and trust me, they are), but they also keep you really warm in the winter!
Suede leggings are expensive and what I refer to as an investment piece. When deciding on a pair to purchase, make sure to choose leggings that have a timeless color (i.e. black, brown, dark grey) and stay away from trendy colors! If you don’t have the means to purchase a pair of suede leggings fear not. The beauty of winter is that it eventually ends and that means you can probably get a pair of suede leggings on sale! Another great option is to buy a pair of faux suede leggings and if you end up loving them you can always invest in a higher end version at a later time.
Now let’s discuss what to pair the leggings with. My favorite way to style suede leggings is with a chunky (or oversized sweater) and sneakers. I LOVE this sweater I’m wearing for several reasons. First and foremost it’s cozy (I don’t really understand the point of wearing a sweater if it’s not)! Second, I love that the pattern of the knit is different on the sleeves and back. Details like this make the sweater look more expensive and also more visually interesting. Finally, I am a huge fan of the balloon shaped sleeves. Lately I have been gravitating towards tops that have volume in the sleeves, just like this sweater!
