Stripes

It’s probably not a surprise that one of my favorite TV shows of all time is Sex and the City. This particular dress reminds me of the episode when Carrie takes care of Big and dresses up like the candy striper!
 
The back of the dress is super playful and it is balanced perfectly by the front of the dress, which is more covered. Often when I wear a dress like this I get asked what I wear underneath. Because a bra (even a strapless one) doesn’t work with this style, I use these petals. This particular dress was fairly high on the sides, but for those dresses that have a lower armhole, I also use this tape to make sure that there is no side boob!
