If you find shopping for jeans a frustrating experience, you’re not alone! Hopefully you’ll find the process easier after today’s post because I’m sharing my shopping tips for buying jeans!
They Must Be High-Waisted. If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile the first criterion should not be a surprise – the jeans must be high-waisted! I plan on writing an entire post about high-waisted jeans/pants so stay tuned, but for now, trust me when I say that the easiest way to elongate your legs is with high-waisted jeans!
Non-embellished back pockets. Onto the next requirement – clean back pockets. In other words, no stitching, embellishments, buttons, etc. All of these additions draw attention to your butt, so if you want to minimize your behind then make sure to follow this rule!
Minimal or No-Whiskering. Finally, I look for jeans with minimal or no whiskering. Whiskers are those white lines that can be found on the front of jeans below the pockets. Just like embellishments on your back pockets, whiskers draw the eye’s attention to that area. So, if you don’t want to emphasize your thighs steer clear of jeans with whiskers!
