In one of the first blog posts I ever wrote about nude pumps I talked about the vamp of a shoe. The vamp is the part of the shoe that covers the top part of the foot (you can see a diagram here).
If you want to elongate your legs (and let’s face it, who doesn’t?!) then you want to select a pair of shoes with a lower cut vamp.
Finding a pair of boots with a low cut vamp can be especially tricky, which is why I jumped for joy when I found these boots by Saint Laurent. As you can see in the photos, the vamp on these boots is quite low and as a result your leg looks longer because the visual break happens at a lower point!
