Before I started blogging, I assumed I would only have to think about putting together great outfits.
I didn’t factor in the importance of the location or the time of day when I would take the photos. Now I put a lot more thought into these variables because a background can either highlight or take away from an outfit!
Initially I planned to shoot this dress during the day, but when I saw this beautiful sunset, I knew it was the perfect background to highlight the pink in this dress! I quickly changed and ran outside to shoot this look!
Much to my delight, the photos came out exactly as I hoped!!!

I love the colour of this frock and you’re right about not taking the photo in the sunshine, this shade of pink wouldn’t have shown up so well. You’ve got a good eye.
