Having grown up in the 80s I can attest to the fact that moms (including mine) did wear this style of jeans back in the day!
Admittedly, these jeans are not going to be flattering on everyone. In fact, they aren’t even the most flattering on me. That being said, I do love their relaxed nature and, of course, that they are extremely high-waisted!
To play off the relaxed vibe of the jeans I purposefully kept the rest of the look very simple and put my hair into a ponytail.
What are your thoughts on mom jeans? Let me know in the comments below and have a wonderful weekend!!

I must say i have now a new-found appreciation for mom jeans. You have oppened my eyes. I used to think, oh…mom jeans…and sigh. Still, life is a multi-facetted experience, one can’t be glamourous everyday. Let me rephrase…one doesn’t want to be glamourous everyday. That’s ok. However, as you exemplify, by combining it with a stand-out top, one is just left re-organizing one’s pre-conceptions. Please wear a potato-sack in a future post, i want to see if you can make ANYTHING look good.
