I love cozy flannel plaid shirts when it gets colder out. When picking a plaid shirt make sure that you pay close attention to the pattern. Pick a pattern that is in proportion to your shape. For example, if you are petite, stay away from plaid patterns that are very big and will overpower you!

I love plaid and these days you can find so many affordable options that look way more expensive than they are. Old Navy has some great hidden plaid gems. Any tips on wearing high-waisted jeans (like the J.Brands above) when you’re petite? I’m only 5’1 and always think high-waisted jeans will make me look taller but am also afraid I will just look ridiculous ha.
