Even though I love getting dressed up, there are also days where I just want to be as comfortable as possible. On those days I always reach for a pair of leggings.
Leggings are great because not only are they extremely comfortable, but they are also versatile. You can dress them up (like I did in today’s post) or you can also throw on a sweatshirt and be on your way!
Leggings are one of the items that I think it’s worth spending more money on. If you buy a quality pair of leggings, they will flatter your legs (and butt). If you feel self-conscious wearing leggings, pair them with a long sweater!

Unfortunately, I have never tried any other leggings so I hesitate to make recommendations when I haven’t personally tried out the product. Like I said in the post, leggings are one of the items I think are worth investing in because the higher end ones really do flatter your legs and butt much more than the less expensive ones.
I will say that I have had the Vince leggings for several years and they show no signs of falling apart any time soon, so if you plan on wearing your leggings several times over a few years, the cost per wear is great.
One option would be to wait until Shopbop, Vince, Saks, or one of the other department stores that carry Vince has a friends and family promotion, and then you can get the leggings at 20-25% off! Hope this helps! xoxo yael

I don’t think there are really any “rules” per se about successfully wearing leggings! However, three things that come to mind are:
(1) Don’t wear leggings with a very dressy shirt
(2) Avoid tucking a blouse into leggings.
(3) Avoid wearing high heels with leggings unless they are ankle boots or boots!
