A few years ago overalls made a comeback and it looks like they are here to stay! In the past I’ve styled them with a turtleneck but today I want to talk about wearing overalls with a chunky knit sweater underneath!
I’ve always loved the look of overalls paired with a sweater but I wasn’t sure whether it would be too bulky. What I found out was there are, in fact, some sweaters that are just too thick to wear under overalls without feeling huge. So choose a sweater with a knit that isn’t too thick, like the sweater I’m wearing in this post!
Whatever you decide to wear under the overalls will largely be hidden so why not choose a sweater with an interesting sleeve? I love the ruffles on this sweater because they aren’t overwhelming (which some ruffles can be)!
