It’s been REALLY hot in NYC these past few days. In fact, it’s hotter here than it was in Israel! In order to stay comfortable in these high temperatures, I’ve been reaching for my summer dresses.
When I first tried on this dress I was a bit overwhelmed by the shape. I love wearing oversized clothes but for some reason this dress seemed too oversized and baggy.
Thankfully, I decided to give it another go yesterday. Ironically, the oversized nature was the feature I embraced. I hate wearing anything remotely clingy when it gets to be this hot out and this dress was the perfect solution!

Such a cute dress! I think it looks great on you. :) The oversized and billowy off the shoulder look makes this perfect for the season anyways. It’s funny because when things look baggy, I feel like I look smaller because I’m kind of swimming in clothes that float away with no structure at the waist. lol

I totally know what you mean about baggy items! It’s funny though because a lot of the clients I style feel that unless the item is super fitted they don’t look small! It’s all about what you are used to and learning how to retrain your eye!! Hope you’re having a great weekend Miki! xx yael

It was extremely hot here in the UK, but, thankfully, it’s cooled in the past few days. Like this frock, I prefer looser clothes when it’s hot. This one looks like a relatively simple shape to recreate.

It seriously has been a million degrees here! While I am ready for it to cool down a bit, I am so not ready for fall to begin! I am loving this warmer weather. Think we can tell NYC to hold on to summer for another month or two? ;)
