As you may have noticed, flare jeans are making quite a comeback.
While I love my skinny jeans and don’t plan on giving them up any time soon, I decided to give flare jeans a try.
The verdict – I love them!!
The combination of the high-rise and flared legs gives the illusion of longer legs – something I am always trying to achieve!

Currently I say I can’t go back to flared jeans… I remember my first pair back in 5th grade, in like 2000. I loved them… bonus points because they had a purple sequin flower design on them! lol…
Anyway, you make them look awesome…great outfit!

Yael, I couldn’t see the shoes you mentioned that are by Joie (& sold out). But that was my one question when wearing flared jeans… What shoes would you wear? I’m scared some of my choices might be overpowered by the flare cut. Clogs? Something with a heel? I’m a bit lost on this one… and having a tough time envisioning how I would pull this great look together.

Was the link not working to the Joie boots that I have? Either way – you have a lot of options! You could wear flats if you don’t feel like you need the added height, or you can just do a basic pump, a pair of booties (like the ones I’m wearing in this post). In the end, you really won’t see very much of the shoe that you choose because when you hem the jeans, they should almost be right at the floor!
