Faux Suede

I love faux suede! In fact, I think that 9 times out of 10 it makes more sense to buy faux suede than real suede. The reason I’m such a fan of faux suede is because it looks and feels just as amazing as the real thing and it costs a fraction of the price. Plus you don’t have to worry about water ruining the fabric!
 
So today I’m sharing an outfit that would be perfect for Valentine’s Day (or any day really), featuring an A-line faux suede skirt! A-line skirts are universally flattering because they cinch at the tiniest part of your body (accentuating your waist) and then gradually widen towards the hem (drawing attention away from your hips and thighs).
 
Aside from the flattering silhouette (and amazing price – it’s on sale for only $44), I love the color of this faux suede skirt! As I’ve mentioned in a few posts, orange/rust is having a major moment and it’s a shade that looks great on everyone. I paired it with the pink turtleneck to create an outfit that is perfect for Valentine’s Day without being too literal.
