I love finding wardrobe staples that are visually interesting. That being said, when building your wardrobe first focus on the classics and then move on to more elevated basics.
For example, I absolutely love the white top that I’m wearing in this post. But, I would not purchase this top if I didn’t already own a classic white button down.
Ultimately you are going to get more use out of a classic and find more ways to wear it than you will an elevated basic. Make sense?! Let me know in the comments below and have a wonderful day!!

I do get what you mean. However, since having to give up work, my wardrobe has gone much more casual so my wardrobe now doesn’t have much in the way of your kind of basics. Mines more likely to be leggings and t-shirts. If I ever get back into regular work, I can see this changing.
I do like that top you’re wearing though, and I love the LV bag. I have a good collection of bags (no names though) as when I did work I liked my bag to matc my outfit. I only use a couple regularly now, but I can’t get rid of any of them!

Please don’t apologize for the long response! I love reading your thoughts!!! Even though you’ve given up work, that doesn’t mean that you have to wear leggings and t-shirts! I think this outfit would be great just for walking around during the day! I find that when I dress a bit nicer I carry myself differently and have more energy! Thanks again for your comment!
