Before I get to today’s blog, I want to apologize for not posting for awhile. My apartment renovation is in full swing (I can’t wait to share all the details with you!) and has been taking up a lot of time and on top of that I got sick as well. The good news is I’m feeling better and I have a new post so let’s get to it!
You might be surprised to learn that the top I’m wearing is styled completely differently online – as a dress, cinched with a clear belt! I decided to remove the belt because it (1) made the dress look less expensive and (2) competed with the detailing on the sleeve (which I love and wanted to draw attention to). The cut-outs are perfect (not too big and the placement is just right) and the button adds a fun touch of sparkle!
Speaking of buttons, let’s discuss the pearl buttons on this coat! The pearls are so fun and add the perfect feminine touch (fyi: the buttons are purely decorative; the coat doesn’t have any button closures)! I also love the oversized sleeves, which are reminiscent of balloon sleeves!
What’s your favorite part of this look? Let me know in the comments below!
