I’m a huge fan of denim skirts so when I saw this one, I couldn’t resist!
The embroidery on the skirt reminds me of fall when all the leaves are changing color so I decided to go for a fall look!
This red sweater was the perfect choice. The short sleeves keep the look from feeling too wintry and the red color plays off the colors in the skirt! To keep the look from feeling too heavy I also opted for white pumps.
Do you love denim skirts? Let me know in the comments below!

I love denim skirts ! and denim dresses too ! Even more when they have BUTTONS ! This one doesn’t but i still like it. Yes I do, even though it falls below the KNEE. I think it’s because of the pencil-skirt cut. a wide cut or a maxi skirt or dress in denim, I don’t think i would like.
Personally, I’m slightly surprised that i can like blue denim skirts and dresses, and quite often even trousers for women, because I don’t like them for men ! I do not own even one single pair of blue-jean trousers. Other colors yes (black, red, and i used to have a white pair I liked).
There is one thing on the matter that I am unsure about, and I think you Yael could set me straight about : in American english, is it alright to call blue jeans trousers ? Or are they always called pants.
More generally….when does a pant become a trouser or the reverse ? Is it case-by-case ?
Ok now back to the look: Wow you are one BIG Alice&Olivia fan ! I don’t blame you, I don’t fault you. I rather thank you for it. I didn’t know them much before I stumbled upon your blogs. I’m for sure glad to know them much better now. That red here is DELICIOUS ! And i love the little lumps…….I think I’ll be daring here, and even go so far as to call them pokies ! It’s a strawberry with a HUNDRED nipples !

You don’t own any blue jeans?!!??! Wow!! As for your grammar question – blue jeans are always called jeans actually!! So not trousers or pants!! To be a trouser or pant, it would be a different fabric – basically anything but jeans!! Also lol on the alice + olivia! I am a huge fan!! They cut clothing well and I love the fit!!! Hope you’re having a great week and thanks as always for the awesome comment! xx yael

The skirt is beautiful, I love the embroidery. The sweater has a lovely 40s vibe too.
