Colorblock Maxi Dress

You guys know I love maxi dresses and consider it a summer wardrobe essential. So it’s a big deal when I can say that of the numerous maxi dresses I own this colorblock maxi dress is easily one of my favorites.
 
I LOVE the colors of this maxi dress, which are each striking individually and even moreso when paired together. I also love that the straps of the dress have gold blocks at the end, which is such a simple, yet pretty detail. The bright colors combined with the bow tie straps give the dress a South American vibe, which is truly beautiful!
 
When wearing a bright dress you might be tempted to think you need to tone down the accessories, but that’s usually not the case. I love wearing bright accessories in the summer and these red earrings work perfectly with this dress! Of course, if you’re doing a bright earring and you have a bright dress you should keep the rest of your accessories neutral, which is why I chose this bamboo clutch and nude sandals.
 
One quick note about sizing, I usually wear the smallest size in most brands, but the XXS was quite tight in the chest area so I sized up to an XS!
