Birthday Dress

One of the biggest blessings of my job has been the ability to work with brands and companies that I’ve long admired. NET-A-PORTER is one of those companies.
 
I love NET-A-PORTER because of how impeccably curated it is. It’s a pleasure to know that when I go to their site, the selection will be the best of the best. So it’s not a big surprise that as I started to think about what I wanted to wear on my birthday, I naturally gravitated towards NET-A-PORTER.
 
I found several dresses I loved and reached out to my contact at NET-A-PORTER to tell her I planned on wearing one of them to celebrate my big day. My birthday wish came true when she graciously offered to send me the dress. It’s hard to convey what a special moment this was for me. It validated all my hard work and gave me a tremendous sense of satisfaction knowing I’d reached a place in my career where I could be gifted an item from a company I’ve admired and loved for so many years.
 
So why did I pick this dress? Well truth be told I picked two (can you blame me? I’ll be sharing the other one very soon). But back to this dress – I immediately fell in love with the colors and paisley print. The blue together with the burgundy provides such a beautiful contrast. I also loved the attention to detail and how unique this dress was! I know it may sound cliché, but I truly felt extra special wearing this dress to celebrate my birthday (it also didn’t hurt that I got plenty of compliments walking to the restaurant)!
 
And now a message to all of you! The sole reason I’m able to work with the brands and companies I love is because of YOU!! Your encouragement and support allows me to do what I love most and I’m more grateful than I could ever adequately express in words. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
