If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I love wearing all black. As far as I’m concerned you can never go wrong wearing black from head to toe.
A few of my clients have asked me whether or not the blacks need to all match perfectly. The answer: no. In fact, you can even mix up the fabrics, for example, black leather pants with a black cotton turtleneck.
Aside from loving black, I also love menswear inspired looks, which is what I was inspired by when putting this outfit together. The bow at the neck is actually part of this shirt, but you could always buy a separate bow and add it to the shirt, like I did in this post here.
How about you? Do you love wearing all black as much as I do? How do you feel about menswear inspired looks? Let me know in the comments below!

Totally awesome look. I love the full black outfit with special details but I also think it’s a really great how you broke it up with nude heels. Total power outfit!

Hi Catherine!!
Thanks so much! Re: the nude heels, I almost always end up wearing them because I love how it lengthens the leg! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!! xo

My husband must love men inspired outfits too because nothing makes him more happy than when I wear (and borrow) his clothes…but maybe that has to do more with emotion than ascetic…
Anyway, I love men inspired clothes and I even went as far as shopping (before this men’s wear trend and all) in men’s departments in stores. I also really like all black outfit and I agree that they are perfect when it comes to playing with textures and materials.
However, I don’t wear all black outfits very often…probably because all black outfits are often an indication of mourning (in my culture at least) so while I wear almost all black outfits often, I rarely opt for all black ones…
Finally, I must say I really like this outfit of yours…so elegant and timeless….stylish and chic! perfection!!!
