Back to Basics

As much as I love dressing up and wearing fashion forward items, nothing beats basics!
 
This sweater is beyond cozy and fluffy and exactly the way a sweater should feel (I’ve never understood why people buy sweaters that aren’t cozy – what’s the point?!). I also really like the wide neckline, which allows you to wear it off the shoulder if you want.
 
For the jeans, I purposefully chose a pair with a very light wash to play off the light color of the sweater. Together with the top and white shoes, the overall monochromatic palette looks super chic and fresh!
 
On to the bag! I had originally chosen a pink purse to wear with this look, but since it is technically fall, I thought this red bag felt more seasonally appropriate. Not to mention, I love this shade of red, which is even more gorgeous in person!!
