80s Child

Something about this sweater reminds me of the 80s (can’t you picture Jesse Spano wearing it on an episode of Saved by the Bell?!). So I thought, why not create an entire look reminiscent of the 80s but updated.
 
First up the jeans! You guys know I love my mom jeans – they’ve been featured several times on my blog and Instagram! I own this same pair in another color (worn in this post).
 
Now the shoes. If this were back in the 80s, I likely would’ve worn a pair of Keds and Wigwam socks. To modernize this 80s look, I opted for these ankle booties. The burgundy color plays off the pink in the sweater and the heels help elongate your leg and balance out the volume of the jeans!
