If you’re like most women you love designer handbags. In order to protect your investments you want to store them properly (read: not piled on top of one another).
An easy way to prevent your handbags from falling on top of one another is by using acrylic shelf dividers.
Before storing your handbag, make sure it is empty. At a minimum, make sure that you’ve removed any lipstick tubes, pens, and perfumes.
Fill the handbag with acid free tissue paper, old t-shirts, or a purse pillow to preserve the handbag’s shape.
Store the handbag in the dust bag it came with.
If you’ve lost the dust bag, use a cotton pillowcase as a substitute!
Lastly, organize your handbags according to their color, so it is easier to locate the handbag you are looking for!

Great tips! This will be my next organizing project. I have a shelf dedicated to my handbags but they look like your “before” picture!
